All you need to know to get started

Welcome Form & Annexes

If you support the objects of the Institute and wish to participate in its activities, please apply either online or by email/post by sending us (1) the Welcome Form; and (2) list of Thematic Areas of Governance (Annex A), both duly completed.

  • If you wish to apply online:
    • please open the Welcome Form and provide the relevant information in the specified blanks;
    • before sending the Welcome Form, please attach Thematic Areas of Governance (Annex A) or send it separately online, after ticking (or mentioning) one or more themes in which you have special interest;
    • press the “Submit application” button.
  • If you wish to apply by email/ post, download and print both the Welcome Form and Thematic Areas of Governance (Annex A), complete them as described above and send them by email to applications@iggpk.com or post them to the Secretary of the Institute.
  • If you wish to be a Member, contact an existing Member to second your application as indicated in the Welcome Form.

    If you are applying to be an Associate, in the Welcome Form select and tick the category for which you are eligible/desirous from the following:

    Associate Icon

    National Associate

    Citizen ordinarily residing in Pakistan aged 31 and above.

    Associate Icon

    Youth Associate

    Citizen ordinarily residing in Pakistan aged 18-30 (including students presently studying abroad).

    Associate Icon

    Overseas Associate

    citizen ordinarily residing outside Pakistan, including holders of a National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP).

    Associate Icon

    Institutional Associate

    Local institution registered in Pakistan under any statute (NGOs, universities, think tanks, professional associations, etc).

    Associate Icon

    International Associate

    Individual who is not a citizen of Pakistan.

    Collaborating Institution

    International institution registered outside Pakistan which would like to participate in, or contribute to,  activities of the Institute or otherwise collaborate or cooperate with it.

    We will duly acknowledge receipt of your application, whether sent online, by email or by post. Your application will receive our earnest and expeditious consideration.

    Fees, Supporting Documents and Code of Ethics

    After review of your application by the Welcome Committee and approval of the Board, you will be notified of its acceptance and asked to deposit the relevant Fee in accordance with the tables below:

    You will be requested to provide necessary supporting documents in respect of the application, comprising copy of CNIC/NICOP/Passport for individuals; copy of registration certificate/details for institutions; and student card or school certificate for students.

    You will also be requested to sign the Code of Ethics (Annex B) online, or to send it by email after downloading, printing and signing it.

    Register of Members and Register of Associates

    You can make the requisite payment and send the Code of Ethics (Annex B) and supporting documents (as attachments) online or by email by using the following:

    Payment

    On receipt of your payment, Code of Ethics and other documents mentioned above, your name shall be entered in the Register of Members or Register of Associates, as the case may be, and you will be sent your Certificate of Membership or Certificate of Associateship accordingly.
